My mother, Justina Araujo, was a nurse for over 40 years, caring for patients at the Social Security Hospital. While still a teenager, I began my training as a health promoter for the government, which allowed me to obtain a scholarship and enter UCMM as a nursing student. Soon after, I began working as a nurse for several years. However, the real driving force behind this beautiful project was my mother&#x27;s illness and her last months of life, during which, as her daughter, I wanted to give her the best care possible. I was alone and didn&#x27;t have the time, and as a nurse, I was looking for excellent service and wanted to be able to count on a company with human sensitivity, one that identified with my mother&#x27;s needs and the pain we were going through as a family. I searched and couldn&#x27;t find a formal company that could guarantee this, and that&#x27;s how the idea of forming what is now SERVIENFERMERA was born.
