CEDIMAT is considered one of the most modern healthcare institutions in the Dominican Republic, Central America, and the Caribbean. The center was inaugurated on March 17, 1999, and began operations in August of that same year, offering diagnostic imaging services. In 2016, we expanded and began operations at the specialized heart care center: CEDIMAT Cardiovascular Center, a six-story building with smart operating rooms, catheterization rooms, consultation areas, a therapeutic garden, a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation center, and an emergency room with the only chest pain and stroke unit in the country. We have the most advanced healthcare technologies, which are constantly being updated, and a highly qualified national and international medical staff to offer specialized services, including: Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology, Hemodynamics, Urology and Nephrology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Women's Clinic, Laparoscopic and General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Bariatric Surgery and Kidney Transplants, Specialized Laboratories, Endoscopic Procedures, and Advanced Medical Therapeutic Procedures.
